The prompts I use
These are the prompts and instructions I use every day with my AI agents. A prompt is typed into the conversation; an instruction is a standing rule, to put in a file such as CLAUDE.md. One click on “Copy” and it is in your clipboard: paste it, then adapt it to your case.
| Type | Prompt / instruction | Description of the action |
|---|---|---|
| 💬 PromptAdded on | Make a mod: a /tool-calls command that opens a pane listing the session's tool calls, and a button above the prompt to open it in one click. |
Creates a mod in Claude Code: a slash command, a pane and a button above the prompt, to see the session's tool calls. |
| 📌 InstructionAdded on | Always answer in English, concisely, in 300 words maximum. |
A standing rule, to put in CLAUDE.md or in custom instructions: language, short tone and a cap on answer length. |
| 📌 InstructionAdded on | Translate into English
Translate only
If you see a price in won, convert it to euros
at a rate of €1 = 1700 won
Output:
Korean text | English text | price in won | price in euros |
System prompt for a translation app: the model translates Korean into English, converts prices in won into euros (€1 = 1700 won) and answers in columns. |
| 📌 InstructionAdded on | Before any change to this file, show me the proposed change and ask for my explicit approval before applying it. |
A rule to put in CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md: the agent presents each change it proposes to this file and waits for your explicit approval, so you keep the final say even when it cleans up inconsistencies itself. |
